Abstract

The Blue Economy which is conceptually the sustainable development deals the oceanic and coastal sustainability a coastal community. The blue economy is dealing the governance and holistic approaches the need and requirement of the coastal requirement in fishing sector. The law governing fishing regulation and policy frameworks aligned with the maritime vision 2030.

This paper discusses the blue economy legal framework in context with Coastal rehabilitation of the coastal community in state of Gujarat with reference to Veraval and Somnath.
