Despite increasing evidence of artificial intelligence (AI) and financial technologies (FinTech) convergence being responsible for transforming financial and administrative processes, very little empirical studies have explored the impact of AI driven financial innovation towards FinTech adoptions and associated digital transformational initiatives by healthcare organizations. Therefore this paper investigates the impacts of AI-driven financial innovation on FinTech adoptions and subsequent digital transformations among multi-specialty hospitals in coimbatore city.Using a quantitative and cross sectional research approach we collect primary data from 300 employees and administration/financials personnel who are knowledgeable and experienced in digital financial technologies. Using partial least squares structural equation modelling technique results show that AI driven financial innovations significantly contribute to the FinTech adoptions (beta=0.55,p<0.001), while FinTech adoptions significantly contributed to digital transformations (beta=0.60,p<0.001). Further analysis suggests that AI driven financial innovations significantly impact digital transformation (direct beta=0.30, p=0.01). It further shows that fin-tech adoptions significantly mediated the relationship between AI driven financial innovations and digital transformation with a beta value of 0.33 (p<0.001) accounting for a variation account factor (VAF)=52%.Thus suggesting partial mediation. We conclude by asserting that integrating AI enabled financial capability with fintech applications significantly enhances healthcare organisations’ digital transformations. Hence leading to improved technology enabled financial operation in health care organizations.
